The square and the basilica

A wonderful opportunity to visit the heart of Christianity: St. Peter’s Square and Basilica with its countless masterpieces, and enjoy the unique experience of climbing to the top of “der cuppolone” to admire one of the most beautiful views of the Eternal City.

We will retrace the millenary history of the Vatican State and its architectural jewels, starting with the analysis of the square designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini with its hypnotic colonnade, classical and innovative at the same time. We will continue with a visit to the Basilica, the largest Christian temple in the world, a treasure trove of countless masterpieces and places of intense devotion. From Michelangelo’s Pietà, to Bernini’s bronze Baldacchino, to the numerous tombs of popes created by the greatest sculptors of all times.

We will conclude with a climb to the dome to admire the beauty of Rome from a unique perspective while enjoying one of the most beautiful views in the world.
